You are all familiar with this childrens tune (Little Bunny Fru Fru, Hoping through the forest. Picking up the field mice and boppin' 'em on the head). This takes that song to an extreme.
You will need

• A Large Book
• two people,

  One to read a book - in the fasion of Mr. Rogers

  a Non-speaking part of Bunny Fru Fru (you will have to be VERY animated,and good with your body)

  Bunny starts curled up in a ball in the middle of the stage. The reader sits on a chair to the side, with a big book opened on his lap. The whole key to the comedy of this routine is these two extremes: Extremely calm and quiet, then extremely loud and hyper. The reader, when reading normal storyline, will be very soft spoken, light hearted as he reads the story of Little Bunny Fru Fru. The way I do it, just explain what the bunny does as he wakes up in the morning, and add the phrase 'Little Bunny... (noun)' to everything.
  Example: "Little Bunny Fru Fru sits up in his little bunny bed, and stretches his little bunny arms as he yawn with his little bunny mouth." This alone gets a laugh as a running gag. The bunny only has to listen to the reader, and mime what the reader says - sounds easy, but you need a good partner. The fun is making up the story as you go.

  After a few lines about bunny eating breakfast, or reading the bunny newspaper (or whatever, be creative!)... "he decides to climb out of his little bunny hole out into the glorious, sunfilled day . Little Bunny Fru Fru looks down the rolling hill, over the grassy meadow, and across the babbling brook where he sees his very best friend... the field mouse, playing by the water's edge. Little Bunny Fru Fru hops down the rolling hill, and over the grassy meadow down to the edge of the water to see his best friend. And when he gets there, he sticks out his little bunny paw......"

  This is where the fun starts!
  Suddenly, the nice, calm reader jumps up and begins to yell in his angriest voice, "and he GRABS the little field mouse, and he throws him down on the ground, and then he stomps, and stomps and stomps on the little mouse..."
  Whatever wild violence you can throw in here, make it fun... like through in some Hulk Hogan moves (Atomic Knee Drop, Body Slams, etc...). Keep this up for a while, but not too long - and to finish out the violence, (still yelling) "and he grabs the little mouse, and he stretches him... and strrrretches him.... and then ties him up into a little knot! And then he THROWS him...." (right as you throw him, slip back into the calm, quiet reader) "... clear across the river.
  Suddenly, the fairy godmother appears and warns Bunny Fru Fru: Little Bunny Fru Fru, that was not a nice thing you did to your little friend. If you don't learn to behave, I am going to turn you into a goon! And little Bunny Fru Fru went back to his little bunny hole."

  Part one done. You repeat this similar sequence 2 more times. Start with bunny waking up, looking over the meadow and seeing the field mouse. Except this gets a laugh: "... where he sees his best friend, the field mouse.... hobbling on a pair of crutches." And the third time, give a list of about 3 things the mouse has wrong (arm in a sling, 36 bandaids, neck brace... whatever!). The calm is there just up to the point he reaches the field mouse, start yelling again... and then calm down, godmother visits and warns again.

  The third and last time, the fairy godmother keeps her threat - and turns bunny into a goon. Usually, the person doing the bunny freezes in a goofy position.

  Punch line: And the moral of this book... Hare today, Goon tomorrow.
  Groan... groan... groan... :O)

  As you can see, this skit is open to creativity... and is never done the same twice. The more extreme your calm and violence is, the better - and the more the bunny gets into the actions the better... don't just stand there being still... constant movement!
